Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the GW Prints Print-on-Demand API and related services.
1. Service Description
GW Prints provides a print-on-demand fulfillment API for custom metal wall art products. Our services include product manufacturing, quality inspection, packaging, and worldwide shipping — all accessible through our RESTful API or web Dashboard.
By registering an account and using our API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Account Registration & API Keys
You must register for an account to access our services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You must not share your live API keys with unauthorized third parties.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You shall not:
- Submit designs that infringe on intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Use our API to transmit malicious code, spam, or conduct denial-of-service attacks.
- Exceed published API rate limits or attempt to circumvent security measures.
- Resell or sublicense API access without written authorization.
4. Orders, Pricing & Payment
All orders submitted via the API are binding once confirmed. Pricing is determined at the time of order submission based on the current rate for the selected product SKU, size, finish, and shipping method.
- Order amounts are deducted from your prepaid account balance.
- You must maintain a sufficient balance for order processing.
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days' prior notice via email and API changelog.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all designs and images you submit through our API. By submitting designs, you grant GW Prints a limited license to reproduce, print, and ship those designs solely for fulfillment purposes. We do not claim ownership of your content.
6. Service Level & Uptime
We strive to maintain 99.9% API uptime. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced at least 48 hours in advance via our Status Page and email notifications. We are not liable for downtime caused by force majeure events, third-party service failures, or planned maintenance.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GW Prints's total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including lost profits or business interruption.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, any outstanding orders will be fulfilled, but your API keys will be deactivated.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
